Ah Success!
Both Katana and Harley behaved wonderfully on their first walk with us, they "walked nice". We met your neighbor Darrell on our way out, real nice guy. Took Katana up on the ridge for a little run and my shoulder is still intact. Harley only slipped out of one bootie on the way back. They are now settling in; Katana rolling around on her back and Harley destroying the Christmas toy.
Hope your flight went well and all is good.

Mamba
Christmas time is a busy time for us pet sitters. This season I was unable to dog sit for SG as I was busy at S&N's acreage with their beasts. I was able to find a friend that could do it, and had the added convenience of being in the same neighborhood. This morning I joined TT in a mid-morning walk with Mamba. What a gorgeous dog.
Mamba likes to chase snowballs and give them a good chomp.
TT gave Mamba an excellent belly rub after the walk in the snow.
Ahhh!

Monday and Tuesday
Sunday night the wind blew again so there were some snow drifts to tend. Monday it started snowing again but that made it more fun.
Tuesday nice clear day. Everyone is doing fine including all the cats.
Toby says Hi!
Arnie and Romeo are too busy eating to say Hi!

First Weekend
Saturday morning woke up to a wonderful sunrise. We headed out and fed your wonderful beasts. All is good, except I did have to talk to Arnie about him trying to wake us up earlier with his braying.
After the hockey game I was driving back and hit fog all the way from the city limits to your house. Almost missed the exit off the main highway and then did miss the turn onto your road. Had to do a U-turn at the 4 way stop and then go about 20k an hour so I didn't miss the turn the 2nd time. After that drive we did have to use your hot tub for medicinal purposes as I was a little tense.
Last night there was a huge wind but nothing was blown away. We woke up to lovely big white snowflakes and some snowdrifts in front of all the gates. Not a problem for GB who is genetically bred for shoveling snow.
Toby and Pebbles are doing well, they were very happy to see us on Friday. I see Toby likes to trade, so far he's tried trading his rawhide for Pebbles' Greenie, and then tried trading it again with the cats for their wet cat food!
Speaking of cats, they have done exactly as you said they would. There is constant clean-up going on and I've aired out the garage a couple of times. I understand now why you feed the birds - keeps the cats entertained. So far the cats have caught none of them.
Thanks for leaving behind all the cookies and GB is doing his best to take care of them for you.
