Katy and Rascal's Second Day

Katy and Rascal are getting along, enjoying their walks and getting plenty of time to stop and smell the..ahem..roses. When a walk time comes around both are right there on the mat waiting for their leashes. Both are eating well - a couple of spoonfuls of unsalted cooked pork juice on the meals seems to really stimulate the process. Sleeping they've pretty well mastered.

These two older dogs are posing after a morning walk. They're getting along well, but don't usually occupy this small a space unless they are waiting to have their leashes put on. Katy is relaxed after hoovering down a breakfast of hard food mixed with rice, although any further fiddling in the kitchen will bring her over to investigate - even if it means navigating the hardwood floor. Rascal had a good nights sleep and seemed unperturbed as Katy was let out for some 6:30 am ablutions. Had to use cell phone for the pic, hence the poor resolution.

Poncho walk #1

Poncho and I enjoyed a nice stroll along the river today. He was a very good boy and walked nicely beside me.

Well we believe that Harley has accepted us except when it's time to go outside in the cold. He is then less then enthusiastic.

So when we came home from running some errands yesterday we found these two surfing the web.

Sunday Play Time

Both Katana and Harley got turns on the tug the rope game. So far they have been good with each other, no fights.


They had their Sunday Tripe so they very happy, we were quite happy to see it go as well. That's one food that smells slightly better on the way out.

Relaxing Saturday

It was a beautiful bright Saturday morning. We just hung out and relaxed. As you can see Katana is stretched out and assuming a pose.

It was a MB day so they were quite happy.

New Years Day

Getting ready to go out for our New Years Day walk. Harley looking thrilled as always to be going out.

Enjoying a sunny morning walk, still a little chilly but it's nice to feel the sun. Katana and Harley are looking towards the road because they think it shows their best side. They are being really good with us.

Happy New Year

We had a very quiet New Years Eve, stayed in and had a nice supper. Harley and Katana crashed early; they missed the countdown.
