A Visit with Jett and Foxx
Jett and Foxx for an early morning stroll down the bike path. Too bad Foxx doesn't like the other occupants on the path.
I can make you do anything, look into my deep brown eyes.

Last Day at the Rock Farm
"Forget Breakfast, let's go for a walk."
"Oh Hello Dog, don't stick your nose in here I'm a vegetarian"
Ah The Cats that really rule the house.
"Look at me, look at me, ignore that view."
Last day with the Rock critters. :(
Here is Scout guarding the front, growling and barking at anything that walks by.

Walking.. more like Sliding
So, what the H is that a picture of? Well Friday it rained all morning so when it stopped I thought I should take Scout out so that if started raining later at least he'd have one good walk. I decided to go check out the Douglas Fir Trail. The trail was in good shape, a little wet but doable with all the stairs. Scout was keen to do it.
We got down to the bottom where it joins the bike path and all was good. To make a loop I decided we'd go up another way. There's a foot path up just a little further West so I decide to take it. It's a little steep, but good work out for the legs. We get to the top and it doesn't take you to the street level but leads you around the top of the hill. I think that's fine, it'll be an adventure going on an unknown path. Sooner or later it'll either lead me back to the Douglas Fir Trail or up to the street. Around the corner we go and up and down, the path gets a little narrower. Pretty soon I'm ducking under branches that have grown over the path. Scout is giving me a little more adventure by weaving the leash between these trees and bushes. The path here is a bit muddy as the sun can't get through the trees to dry it out. Scout's having no problem with his 4 feet and 20 toenails. I'm getting a little worried as I start to slid a bit on any of the down hill pieces. AH, no worries I have trees and bushes I can grab onto..... ah no I'm down, sliding down on my butt as Scout looks at me like "Like what are you doing eye to eye with me". So there you go, the picture is of my butt after sliding down the path to the embarressment of Scout. How can the dog take me as it's leader now?
