Spring Swim

Daisy's pace is too much for Ace

 A short ball gives Ace a glimmer of a chance, but Daisy closes the door and snatches the prize. Joey holds back from leaping into deep cold water with a couple bred for this kind of stuff. He's content to adjudicate from the sidelines, which seems wise in retrospect, and even in prospect for that matter.

Ace's long term strategy pays off, however, as he's the first to the flop.

Joey assuming a comfortable position surveying the street and offering a selection of warnings from single worn squeaky toy sound to rapid fire barking, depending on his evaluation of the threat of people and pets passing by.

Gentle Joey accepts denarian Ace and Daisy dynamo (until Daisy abducted Joey's favourite teddy bear).

Daisy enjoys a good run in the spring snow, Ace and Joey are a little late to the game.
